Michael Montiel is a photographer and retoucher based in Chicago, IL, available worldwide.

Michael began his journey many years ago and through all those years he worked to anchor his stories in movement and light to provoke emotion and draw a deeper story beyond the photo.

With experience in-studio and on-location, he has photographed within fashion, editorial, advertising, and commissioned assignments. Michael’s work has been published in magazines including Modern Luxury and Ellements and helps clients such as Clinique, 10MGMT, Salt + Lace, artists like Sprado, celebrities like Maria Kanellis-Bennett.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Business at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. His time spent in undergrad helped him understand his love for Chicago and the amount of art in every corner.
